Lots Going On, But All Hush Hush

This is one of those frustrating posts when there is loads going on, but I can’t show you any of it. It makes for a very dull post with no photos unfortunately.

I have a load of design work on the go, but it is all hush hush. I can tell you what I am doing, but no details or photos, so let’s start at the beginning…

I am designing a sweater for Interweave! Squee! I can’t tell you what it looks like, or what magazine it is going in to, but I can tell you that I have just finished knitting the photo sample, which was a trial, but is a story for another day as it requires photos. The pattern is just about written, just need to go back over it and make sure there are no typos or silly mistakes in the maths and I can put it to bed.

Next up there is another sweater, yes two! I know I am more known for my shawls and socks, but I have designed a sweater or three in my time 😉 http://www.ravelry.com/designers/janine-le-cras. This one is for a book by the wonderful people at Cooperative Press. All I am prepared to say at the moment is that the sample is in a gorgeous yarn, Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and it is a dream to knit with. I cast this one on Thursday and I am really loving it.

Also on the needles is the Fall edition of The Unique Sheep Seasons club and soon I will be also working on the latest Christmas in July Club offering.

Add to that a couple of designs I have promised to yarn dyers and the next Mystery KAL and it is going to be  a Summer of knitting, a lot of it stealth knitting 😦

I can’t leave you without a photo or two. So here is a throwback.

This is Oliver Twist, the Mystery KAL from late Summer 2014. Triangular and fingering weight, this particular one is from one of my test knitters, Keith (bkeith on Ravelry) colourway is Roses and Olives – yum!

And this is how I would like to be spending the Summer

Holly really understands the meaning of the word relax…

A la prochaine!
