It has been a busy few weeks.
I have been fortunate to pick up a couple of commissions from esteemed US companies and have been hard at work grading patterns in many sizes. Alas I can say very little more other than both patterns are a bit of a departure from what I published recently. They are both sweaters.
I have designed many sweaters before, but in recent years most of my designing has been concentrated on shawls and socks.
I have designed thin ones
Muscari for Juniper Moon Farms
Thick ones
Packer Sweater , also for Juniper Moon Farms
Sleeveless ones
Provence Tank from Knitting in the Sun
Men’s
Jared Waistcoat – Yarn Forward magazine and now self published
And I have even modelled a few myself!
Swing Swing Cardigan from Knotions.
More details of all of these can be seen on Ravelry.com
The lace scarf is nearly done, 6 inches to go, but at home I am knitting on the photo sample for the first commissioned sweater, so it is being inched out during my lunch hours at school.
As always lace looks terrible until it has been blocked, so I promise a glamour shot once it is off the needles ;-).
We are heading into the silly season at the day job, so I am going to have to work extra hard at keeping you all informed here on the blog. There just aren’t enough hours in the day or days in the week!
A la prochaine!
