As you have probably noticed, I seem have cracked the DNS with the help of my lovely host company Dreamhost, who gave me very clear , idiot proof instructions on how to link up to WordPress, so here we are 🙂
Yesterday I posted a photo of my latest design, but I was very remiss, I completely forgot to tell you what the design was!
I have a fabulous relationship with a couple of ladies in the US Laura and Kelly who together are The Unique Sheep. I have been designing patterns to compliment their yarns for nearly 10 years now and we have been doing a long series of Mystery KALs based on classic childrens books. The design pictured was the latest in the series, The Once and Future King.
Knitted in lace weight on 3.25mm (US#3) needles, this was great fun to design. It is knitted in two halves and grafted together in the middle. With dagger beads on the edges and beads scattered throughout, it twinkles. There are so many wonderful versions in some many fabulous colourways and you can see more of them here on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-once-and-future-king
Here is one last photo of the same pattern in a different colourway
Tomorrow, another pattern that I released today. But if you aren’t part of The Scary Sock KAL you will have to wait a few weeks before you can buy it. A bientot!
