While knitting on the test knit for Wrinkle in time this weekend I realised that my nails match the colours in the yarn I am using!

The nails are Blue Sky gel polish in salmon with a Nubar holo flake topcoat.

The yarn is Serengeti Gradiance on Tinsel Toes fingering from the Unique Sheep.

Looking back it seems that I  often change my nails to match the yarn , or at least tone. I am very sensitive to colour and I don’t think I could knit with clashing colours for long before it drove me up the wall.

For those of you out there who paint their nails, are you matchy matchy? or doesn’t it matter to you?
